Creamy Carrot Cake Smoothie

2 glasses containing a fresh 胡萝卜 smoothie. Fresh 胡萝卜s, lemons and 姜 root surround the glasses.

  • 1 large ripe frozen banana (as original recipe is written, 1 ¼ cup)
  • 1 small 胡萝卜, chopped (as original recipe is written, 1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 tsp ground 肉桂
  • 1/2 tsp 香草 extract (or 1/8 tsp 香草 powder)
  • 1 tsp fresh minced or grated 姜 (or 1/4 tsp ground 姜)
  • 1 healthy pinch of ground 肉豆蔻
  • 1/2 - 1 cup milk (use less for a thicker smoothie, more for thinner smoothie. We prefer cashew, coconut, or almond milk)
  • 1 scoop plain or 香草 protein powder (optional)

  2. Taste and adjust flavor as needed.
  3. Serve as is or garnish with shredded 胡萝卜, shredded coconut, or walnuts. 新鲜时最好. Will keep it in the freezer for up to 1 month (thaw before enjoying).
